Michigan DNR reports a successful 2022 fall fish stocking season

Great Lakes strain muskellunge: Thompson State Fish Hatchery stocked 28,046 Great Lakes strain muskies, weighing 3,832 pounds, at 18 locations in the Upper and Lower peninsulas. Overall, the DNR stocked 624,205 fish in Michigan waters last fall. (DNR photo)

The Michigan DNR stocked 624,205 fish, collectively weighing 7.8 tons, at 85 locations across the state during the fall of 2022.
