“Tackle” Terry Tuma talks about the use of swimbaits for catching largemouth and smallmouth bass, and even walleyes. He says the key is to select the correct length of swimbaits, ideally 2-1/2 to 5 inches long. Slow, steady retrieves are often the most productive, but stop and go and a crawl along the lake bottom work, too.
