Marie and SWCD Board Chairman David Miller visited the site of a Clean Water Fund-backed SWCD project on Sept. 9, 2021, in Terrebonne Township. The grade stabilization at the edge of Ste. Marie’s field fixed a 20-foot-deep, 8-foot-wide gully. Construction finished in October 2020. Clean Water Funds from BWSR, backing from Red Lake Watershed District support agricultural practices that mend gullies, focus on Lower Clearwater River.
