Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge to Offer Permits for Deer Hunting in 2016

Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge will offer special refuge deer hunting permits for the 2016 Archery and 9-day Wisconsin Gun Deer season.

New this season, the refuge is opening up an early archery season, starting September 17, 2016. The season dates for the refuge early archery is September 17 through November 13, 2016. Hunters may download an early archery permit application and send the completed form with a $10 processing fee to the refuge. If more than 20 applications are received, permits will be awarded by a random drawing held on August 31, 2016. Only selected archery hunters will be permitted to hunt on the refuge.
