Northern Lower Peninsula Fishing Report – May 20th, 2016

NORTHWESTERN LP Traverse City Area Lake herring and lake trout were keeping anglers busy last week on Lake Michigan’s East Grand Traverse Bay. Those fishing Swedish pimples in  35 to 75 feet of water reported good results. Walleye fishing has been good on South Lake Leelenau. Crankbaits trolled in 10 to 17 feet of water have produced good results. Crappies were hitting jigs

Southern Lower Peninsula Fishing Report – May 20th, 2016

Lake St. Clair Anglers caught largemouth and smallmouth bass in 7 feet of water along the shoreline last week on Lake St. Clair. Most fish were caught south of the Clinton River cutoff launch and near the mouth of the Detroit River. Crankbaits produced the best results. Dark green and crayfish were good colors.
