NORTHWESTERN LP Alanson Burbot fishing has been very good in the deep hole on Burt Lake. Other than that fishing has been slow. Most anglers were waiting for last weekend’s inland walleye, pike, muskie and trout openers in the Lower Peninsula. Toms are gobbling and morels are popping. SOUTHEASTERN LP Lake St. Clair Dock and channel anglers on Lake St. Clair were still catching panfish on crawlers and minnows last week at the Selfridge launch. EASTERN UP Pickford Area There was not much fishing effort at Raber Bay or Lime Island last week. Moving up the St. Marys River to Lake George, anglers report catching yellow perch on the east side of Sugar Island off Hay Bay in 30 feet of water. Shiner minnows seemed to work best.
