Southwest Pennsylvania Fishing Report – January 29th, 2016

Allegheny River (Allegheny County) — Frigid weather in mid-January put the kibosh on fishing, although flow was normal.

Monongahela River (Washington, Greene counties) — White bass were reported at the Point Marion lock chamber during the spate of mild weather that ended in mid-January. A good walleye bite also was reported at various locks and dams. Trout anglers reported success in the Marianna area of Ten Mile Creek, with flies and bright spinners on light tackle productive.
