Southwest Pennsylvania Fishing Report – December 18th, 2015

Ohio, Beaver rivers — Nice-sized walleyes were reported in recent weeks, particularly below the New Brighton and Montgomery dams, with shiners productive for many anglers. 

Glendale Lake (Cambria County) — Yellow perch were reported in recent weeks at this 1,635-acre impoundment in Prince Gallitzin State Park.

Colver Reservoir (Cambria County) — Nice bluegills were reported in recent weeks.

Lake Rowena, Duman’s Dam, Chest Creek (Cambria County) — Recently stocked trout were reported in recent weeks.

Quemahoning Reservoir (Somerset County) — Light fishing pressure was reported, and anglers were catching some nice smallmouth bass in recent weeks. 

Laurel Hill Lake (Somerset County) — Trout were hitting at the upper end of this 63-acre impoundment through early December.
