Southwest Pennsylvania Fishing Report – November 6th, 2015

Raccoon Lake (Beaver County) — Anglers were catching recently stocked trout through late October, with minnows, pastebaits, and pink salmon eggs under bobbers productive. 

Ohio River — Nice-size channel catfish were reported around Bridgewater.

Monongahela River (Greene, Washington counties) — Scented baits were taking catfish in the eddies and pools near tributaries in recent weeks. Anglers were catching bass on crankbaits in 3 to 5 feet of water.

Twin Lakes, Donegal Lake, Mammoth Lake (Westmoreland County) — Nice numbers of trout were reported on spinners fished from shore.

Quemahoning Reservoir (Somerset County) — An excellent smallmouth bass bite and some nice catfish have been reported amid light angling pressure in recent weeks.

Somerset Lake (Somerset County) — A few nice largemouth bass have been released in recent weeks amid light angling pressure.

Laurel Hill Lake (Somerset County)  — Trout were hitting in recent weeks, particularly on the top end of the lake.
