Visit Outdoor News near the DNR Exhibit at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair
Outdoor News, Inc., publisher of locally written fishing and hunting outdoor newspapers in seven Great Lake states, invites attendees of the 2015 Minnesota State Fair to visit the Outdoor News booth while they attend the new Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Forestry Division State Fair exhibit near the corner of Judson Avenue and Nelson Street on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
The DNR’s State Fair exhibit is unveiling its first big makeover in 20 years with a new interactive display presenting a modern view of forestry in Minnesota. The exhibit includes five, 15-foot-tall trees made from 304 maple wood sticks, an interactive wall panel, and a log puzzle.
In addition to picking up an Outdoor News logo cap that comes with a new or renewing subscription to Outdoor News during the State Fair, visitors to the Outdoor News booth can view replicas of a variety of Minnesota’s state record fish, and purchase copies of the book titled “45 Years of Hunting and Fishing History,” which highlights the iconic moments in Minnesota’s outdoor heritage from the pages of Minnesota Outdoor News. The book makes a great holiday gift. Complimentary copies of the current edition of Minnesota Outdoor News also will be available at the booth.
The Minnesota State Fair is one of the nation's largest and best-attended agricultural and educational entertainment events. The 12-day event attracts over 1.7 million attendees annually. The 2015 event begins Thursday, Aug. 27 and runs through Labor Day, Sept. 7. For more information go to: http://www.mnstatefair.org/
