Muddy Creek, Otter Creek (York County) — Crawlers, spinners, minnows, and yellow and orange power bait were taking trout through early May.
Little Juniata River (Huntingdon County) — TCO Fly Shop reported good conditions and great fishing May 10. Water was clear and in the low 50s and Caddis (14-16) were hatching in big numbers. Subsurface presentations were recommended. Hatches included Grannoms (14-16), Blue-Winged Olives (20-22), and midges (20-24).
Susquehanna River — Koinonia Guide Service reported numbers of bass up to 20-plus inches were released on hair jigs and soft plastics on jigs. Walleyes and flathead catfish also were reported.
