Meldahl Dam (Clermont County) – Channel catfish are being taken in good numbers all along the river. Try chicken livers, shrimp, or nightcrawlers fished on the bottom.
Racine Pool Area – Black bass can be caught throughout the Racine Pool on spinner baits, crankbaits, and plastics. Try top-water baits in shallow areas and plastics or crankbaits fished slowly in some of the deeper pools. Catfish can be caught along the shore with cut bait, nightcrawlers, and minnows fished off the bottom. Several in the 25- to 30-pound range were reported this last week.
