Metro Area Fishing Report – April 3rd, 2015

NORTHEAST METRO

The small lakes are completely open and the although the bigger lakes still had some ice on them, it was floating and being pushed with the wind. There’s a good chance that it will be gone by this weekend throughout the entire area.

WEST METRO

Many lakes are ice-free and others have some limited ice floating on them. Start looking for crappies to show up in shallow bays and channel areas after a few more days of warm weather. Guys have been out trying some of those traditional ice-out areas with limited success early this week.
