Northeast Pennsylvania Fish Report – February 27th, 2015

Harris Pond (Luzerne County) — Numbers of bluegills and a few yellow perch were reported on this 30-acre fishery through Feb. 11.

Lake Jean (Luzerne County) — Chain pickerel and a few yellow perch were being iced through mid-February.

Briar Creek Lake (Columbia County) — Crappies were reported in recent weeks, although sizes were more impressive than numbers.

Long Pond (Wayne County) — Ice anglers were catching bluegills and perch on jigs. Trout also were reported, although with some nice crappies.

Duck Harbor Pond (Wayne County) — Some nice bass and chain pickerel were reported on tip-ups and minnows in recent weeks.
