The folks at FISH307 report plenty of ice on Lake George, with superb action for lake trout and most fish above the lake’s 23-inch size minimum. Perch action has been good as well; Harris Bay has been producing some good ringbacks. And more landlocks have been taken via jigging and tip-ups than in recent years.
Tim Blodgett at Saratoga Tackle and Archery reports anglers were out on Saratoga Lake and picking up mixed bags of perch, bluegill, crappie, bass and pickerel.
Round Lake: Ice anglers were picking up northern pike with some regularity.
