Lackawanna Lake (Lackawanna County) — Ice anglers reported limits of bluegills and crappies on small jigs and waxworms on this state park impoundment Jan. 18.
Merli-Sarnoski Lake (Lackawanna County) — Trout were reported in this state park impoundment through mid-January.
Prompton Dam (Wayne County) — Perch and brown bullheads were being caught through the ice in mid-January.
Lake Wallenpaupack (Wayne, Pike counties) — Ice anglers were catching perch on jigs and minnows and Swedish pimples in Walt’s and Martin’s coves as of Jan. 18.
Shohola Lake (Pike County) — Ice anglers reported numbers of largemouth bass up to 4½ pounds, crappies, nice-size chain pickerel, and perch, mostly on minnows and shiners.
Promised Land Lake (Pike County) — Pickerel up to 25 inches and bass were being iced in recent weeks.
Peck’s Pond (Pike County) — Ice anglers were catching pickerel on tip-ups and minnows through mid-January.
White Deer Lake, Lake Greeley (Pike County) — Big pickerel, crappies and some bass were being iced in mid-January.
Beltsville Lake (Carbon County) — Four ice anglers fishing minnows reported having the lines of their tip-ups snapped off, presumably by muskies in mid-January.
Mauch Chunk Lake (Carbon County) — Ice anglers reported catching chain pickerel and bass on minnows in recent weeks.
Lake Carey (Wyoming County) — Ice anglers were catching walleyes in mixed sizes from sublegal to 18 inches and trout on live minnows through Jan. 18.
Harris Pond (Luzerne County) — Perch, bluegills, and crappies were reported on jigs and tip-ups through Jan. 17.
