FARIBAULT AREA
Look to Roberds Lake for crappies and a few sunfish in 17 to 20 feet, while Kelley Dudley Lake is producing crappies in 15 feet to the left of the access. On Cannon Lake, walleyes and perch remain active in 10 feet and Cedar Lake is worth hitting for panfish in 12 to 14 feet.

RED WING AREA
The warm weather of late has allowed for some good open-water action below the dam on the Mississippi River. Jigs tipped with minnows or plastics are producing walleyes during the evenings in less than 12 feet and walleyes and saugers during the day in 20 feet or deeper. On the ice, walleyes are hitting off Methodist Point on Lake Pepin in 14 to 16 feet.

ROCHESTER AREA
Look for perch, crappies, and northern pike in 10 feet on Silver Creek Reservoir or crappies in 6 to 8 feet on Kalmar Reservoir (KR7). Zumbro Lake continues to give up panfish in 15 to 20 feet and Chesterwoods Pond is kicking out crappies in 10 to 15 feet. Rainbow trout action remains strong at Foster Arend Pond in 8 feet, but look for suspended fish.

WINONA AREA
Tip-ups and sucker minnows continue to produce northern pike in the backwater areas and boat harbors off the Mississippi River. Look for perch in the Spring Lake and Weaver Bottoms areas, while Machine Shop Lake is kicking out panfish and walleyes in 5 to 10 feet or 20 to 30 feet, also off the main river. On Lake Winona, sunfish are being caught in 5 to 30 feet.
