Monongahela River (Greene, Washington counties) — The mouths of the tributaries and outfalls of the dams were producing walleyes in the falling water temperatures of recent weeks. Some anglers were catching catfish from the deeper waters and lock walls in the early evening hours.
Duman Dam, Lake Rowena (Cambria County) — Trout fishing was productive at both fisheries in recent weeks.
Colver Reservoir (Cambria County) — Nice-size yellow perch were reported in recent weeks.
Wilmore Dam (Cambria County) — A good bass bite was reported in recent weeks.
Quemahoning Reservoir (Somerset County) — Smallmouth bass and a few northern pike were biting in water that was seven feet below normal pool in early November. Nearby Lake Somerset was also drawn down by seven feet, and angling pressure was light.
Youghiogheny River Reservoir (Somerset County) — Nice walleyes were reported in recent weeks. This flood control dam is at its normal low fall levels.
Laurel Hill Lake (Somerset County) — Trout were biting at the upper end through early November.
