Northeast Minnesota Fishing Report – November 7th, 2014

DULUTH AREA

A few people continue to fish, with Island Lake and Boulder Lake producing walleyes on minnows in 6 feet. Grouse hunting reports have been good north and east of Duluth and the rut has kicked in as most archery hunters are seeing bucks on the move and more scrapes and rubs in the woods.

LAKE KABETOGAMA

Although crappies and walleyes can be caught in 20 to 35 feet, there hasn’t been many people fishing. Most folks in this region are preparing for trapping and the upcoming deer season.

MORA AREA

A few more ducks have moved into the area, but hunting pressure has been limited. A handful of anglers continue to fish, with Ann Lake, Knife Lake, and Fish Lake producing crappies and some walleyes on minnows in 8 to 10 feet.
