Northeast Pennsylvania Fish Report – October 10th, 2014

Duck Harbor (Wayne County) — Walleyes were biting at night in recent weeks. 

North Branch of the Susquehanna River (Bradford, Sullivan counties) — Nice numbers of quality bass were reported in recent weeks, with topwater lures and crankbaits the tickets. 

Lake Wallenpaupack (Pike County) — Smallmouth bass were hitting live bait and tubes in recent weeks. Cooler water also spurred striped bass action, with fish up to 13 pounds reported. Large channel catfish were reported on the bottom. The perch bite was picking up for anglers drifting fathead minnows. Chain pickerel were taking spinners and spoons. 
 

Lackawaxen River (Pike County) — Smallmouth bass were active in recent weeks. 

Lake Greeley (Pike County) — Crappies were hitting around weedbeds in recent weeks. 

Fairview Lake (Pike County) — Anglers rolling eel lures reported catching nice smallmouth bass. 

Brady’s Lake (Monroe County) — Large crappies were reported around structure in recent weeks. 

Delaware River — Smallmouth bass were reported in recent weeks.
