Beaverkill/Willowemoc: Small nymphs and terrestrials have been effective. The Horton area is now closed to fishing as a thermal refuge area for the fish. Delaware West Branch: A decent Sulphur hatch most days. The “slop” can make nymph fishing the upper reaches impossible. There are also some small BWOs and spinners often mixed with Sulphurs. 

Hudson River: Anglers were picking up smallmouth bass on medium-diving crankbaits around rockpiles and day markers. Largemouth bass were being caught almost anyplace were vegetation meets rock; popular baits included Senko-style plastics and weedless jigs. Anglers were also reporting catfish.
