Mattoon: Crappies slow. Fish have moved back deeper; lower a minnow near submerged brush. Bluegills good. Cast a waxworm or red wiggler near the docks or shallow weed lines. Largemouth bass good. Lake Murphysboro: Channel cats good using cut shad. Bluegills excellent using worms.  Crappies good on minnows. Kinkaid Lake: Bluegills good to excellent using waxworms and red wigglers.
