Central New York Fishing Report – March 7th, 2014

Lake Ontario: The cold weather and snow has made fishing the smaller tributaries extremely difficult, so there is no new information to report.

Oneida Lake: The bite was slow again for walleye, but a few were being taken in 20-30 feet of water on jigging spoons or blade baits tipped with minnows.

Oswego River: Anglers getting out in drift boats were getting some steelhead.

Salmon River: Anglers fishing the deeper pools from Pineville to Altmar were still getting into steelhead.
