Kiser Lake (Champaign County) – Anglers fishing the east side of Kiser Lake through the ice are catching crappies and bluegills in decent numbers. There is currently a bit of fishing pressure here, according to angler reports. Ice thickness varies, but is primarily four to six inches. Try jig combinations for the best panfish bite.
Dillon Lake (Muskingum County) – There currently isn’t much fishing going on in the main lake and the pressure below the spillway has been largely hit and miss, Bob Mathie at Bob’s Outdoor Supply reports. Mosquito Creek Lake (Trumbull County) – Anglers are reporting up to eight inches of good ice on Mosquito, with some areas on the north side of the lake reporting up to 10 inches. This prolonged cold snap has meant good panfishing on Mosquito with anglers catching bluegills and crappies primarily on jig combinations and jigging
Indian Lake (Logan County) – Most successful anglers on Indian are fishing the North Fork area, catching primarily crappies with some other fish tossed in, including largemouth bass. Some anglers are finally catching some saugeyes this winter. Fish have ranged anywhere from 15 to 24 inches and are biting on vibrating blade baits, according to
