Rumor of record Lake Erie walleye was just that – a rumor

In a decision that was credited to pressure from hundreds of ice fishermen and business owners who benefit from the seasonal influx of the anglers, the plan to use an ice breaking tug boat to tow barge loads of steel dock cribs from Catawba to Put-in-Bay on Jan. 20 was canceled.
