Northeast Minnesota Fishing Report – November 29th, 2013

DULUTH AREA

All lakes are ice-covered and anglers began walking on some of them last weekend. There hasn’t been much for early fishing reports, but five inches of ice seemed to be pretty common throughout the area.

GRAND MARAIS AREA

Most small, wind-protected lakes had four to six inches of ice this week. The big lakes were still open, mainly due to the wind, but they should cap as soon as it calms down. Only a handful of anglers were fishing with no reports of success being heard.
