WINONA AREA Walleyes are hitting a jig and minnow in the Trempealeau Lakes and Lock 5 on the Mississippi River. Crappies can be had with a slip bobber and minnow on the 10- to 12-foot rock and rip/rap areas of the river. Hunters continue to shoot a few wood ducks and mallards, but no divers.
