Allegheny River (Armstrong County) — A 51-inch flathead catfish was released by an angler night-fishing near Kittanning. A good flathead bite was reported, with bluegills the ticket. Presque Isle Bay (Erie County) — An outstanding crappie bite, including many limits, was reported in recent weeks, with most fish concentrated in deeper water through early October.
