Southeast Minnesota Fishing Report – September 13th, 2013

Willow cats, fatheads, or crankbaits are producing walleyes in the various pools throughout the Mississippi River. The wing dams in most channels are holding sunfish, the 10- to 25-foot structure are producing crappies, and the deep holes on the river are giving up catfish. Goose hunters are shooting birds in this area, but most are being taken from the backwaters and not fields.
