Lake Minsi (Northampton County) — Largemouth bass, including a 7-pounder taken on a small surface crankbait in the lily pads, were reported in recent weeks. Numbers of nice bluegills also were reported. Monacacy Creek (Northampton County) — Trout were hitting at the end of August, with one angler catching an 18-inch brookie on a mealworm.

Peck’s Pond, Promised Land Lake (Pike County) — Anglers were drop-shotting plastic crawlers in the weeds, and dragging them across lily pads in recent weeks.
