North Central Pennsylvania Fishing Report – August 29th, 2013

Spring Creek (Centre County) — Water was a nice level, clear and in the mid-60s as of Aug. 15. Tricos were hatching. Ants, beetles and other terrestrials fished along the bank were taking trout during the day. Nymphing was the best bet. Hatches included tricos (22-28), midges (22-26), blue-winged olives (18-22), tan caddis (14-16), cahills (14-16) and craneflies (16-18).
