Adirondacks Fishing Report – August 22nd, 2013

Lake Champlain fishing has been good of late, topped off by topwater bass opportunities. But lake trout continue to offer good fishing throughout the lake, usually on the bottom. Landlocked salmon reports have been spotty.
The region’s trout waters – including the West Branch of the Ausable – have been offering up superb fishing thanks to cool water temps. Tricos in the morning, hopper patterns throughout the day and streamers as well have been yielding fish.
