Adirondacks Fishing Report – July 12th, 2013

Fishing has been hit and miss with the steady rainfall of late, some of which brought flooding conditions. Still, when the streams flush out anglers have been doing well on trout, fishing weighted nymphs.

The biggest news of late on Lake Champlain came in the form of a big lake trout, an 18-pound, 11-ouncer caught – and released – by Roger Burkert of Ringoes, N.J., on an outing with Capt. Jim Hotaling of Trolling Tina Charters in Willsboro. Check out the photo on Page 7 of this issue.
