Thousand Islands Fishing Report – June 28th, 2013

St. Lawrence River: Not hearing much of late, perhaps because of the weather, but bass and pike should be available.

Black Lake: Richard at Chapman’s Sport Shop and Marina says high lake levels have been a factor at times, but bass can still be had by anglers adjusting their tactics. Spawning bluegill are also being targeted. Crappie fishing has slowed, a few pike are being taken and some walleye anglers are plying the waters as well. But for the most part, it’s a bass and bluegill game right now.
