Southwest Minnesota Fishing Report – June 28th, 2013


Bluegills are hitting in four to six feet on Budd Lake and Lake Sissiton, while crappies are being plucked off the six- to 10-foot rock humps on Budd and Hall Lake. Trolling crankbaits in eight to 12 feet has produced walleyes at George Lake and Hall.

Sunfish continue to hit in the shallows of lakes Calhoun, Nest, Green, Andrew, Florida, Games, and Eagle. Walleyes are hitting leeches and crawlers in 15 to 20 feet at Diamond Lake, Eagle, Nest, Andrew, and Florida or in 25 to 35 feet on Green. Bass and pike active on everywhere on the shorelines or emerging weedbeds.
