Thousand Islands Fishing Report – May 31st, 2013

St. Lawrence River: Bullhead action has been decent, but a lot of attention is on northern pike and perch, which have been very cooperative of late.

Black Lake: Richard at Chapman’s Sports (315-324-5265) in Hammond reports solid fishing for crappie and bluegill, and northern pike also cooperating with some regularity. Anglers have been encountering plenty of bass while pursuing other species, especially northerns. Not hearing much of late on the walleye action.
