Trout anglers were focusing on the region’s waters (Kayderosseras, Mettawee, Battenkill), while crappie action was decent on Saratoga Lake. Not hearing a lot on Lake George, but lakers and landlocks should be a good option.

Attention has now drifted away from spring gobblers and turned to trout. With good water conditions and temps, virtually all area trout waters have been stocked – some more than once. Reports have been good on the West Branch of the Ausable River.
