Catskill Fishing Report – December 14th, 2012

It’s the time of year when weather dictates whether you have any reasonable chance of getting out on the water comfortably. That said, at last report the Beaverkill and Willowemoc were both clear and fishable, with water temps teetering on either side of 40 degrees. Look for small olives in the afternoon, but streamers and nymphs fished in the slower water will probably be more productive. The West Branch of the Delaware was also wadeable. The Neversink is now closed to fishing, while the Main Stem of the Delaware was both wadeable and floatable as of last week. The Esopus water level was also fishable.
