Southeast Minnesota Fishing Report – October 12th, 2012

Shields Lake is giving up walleyes and northern pike via minnows or Rapalas in 10 to 12 feet. Northern pike and bass are biting on Cedar Lake in 10 feet and Fox Lake is producing a few walleyes in six to 15 feet on minnows and jigs. Look for crappies on Circle Lake in six to eight feet. Hunting reports have been limited and there doesn’t seem to be many ducks or geese in the area.
