Southeast Minnesota Fishing Report – September 21st, 2012

Walleye action has been tough with a few fish being taken with crankbaits in 10 to 18 feet on Lake Pepin. Smallmouth bass reports have been favorable on the Mississippi River and the deep holes within it are holding catfish. Work the back channel areas of the river for crappies and sunfish. Goose hunting is going well for most groups and archery hunters have registered quite a few antlerless deer and a couple nice bucks.
