Beaverkill/Willowemoc
Fishable at last look, with water temps in the low 60s, but keep an eye on rising temps and give the fish a break if needed. The Horton section of the Beaverkill is closed through Aug. 31 to protect trout from thermal stress.
Delaware East Branch
Decent numbers of tricos in the morning, with some Sulphurs, Olives and few Light Cahills late in the day. Terrestrials are good at any time.
Delaware West Branch
At a good, wadeable flow at last check. Hatches have become a little more sporadic with Sulphurs in the afternoon.
Neversink: In great shape, with some tricos and midges in the late morning and Sulphurs and Olives near dark. Terrestrial fishing has been effective.
Delaware Main Stem
Tricos in the morning, but most surface activity has been closer to dark with Olives, some Sulphurs and spinners.
Esopus
Wadeable, with water clarity problems due to stream improvements being made after the floods of last year.
