Lake Ontario
Chinook salmon and lake trout were being found in 100 to 350 feet of water. Fishing down 40 to 150 feet with spoons, flashers and flies or flashers and cut bait was working for the salmon.
Oneida Lake
Walleye anglers continued to do well on the lake, with fish being taken in 20 to 30 feet of water.
Oswego River
The smallmouth bass bite has been good, with artificial and live bait both working. Sheepshead, white perch, catfish and rock bass are active throughout the river, with crayfish or worms doing the trick.
Salmon River

Sandy Pond
Northern pike fishing has been good, with fish being taken on Rapalas and spinnerbaits.
Sodus Bay
Bass fishing has been good in the shallows, out to about 12 feet of water. Good lures have been spinnerbaits, topwaters and a variety of plastics.
Irondequoit Bay
Bass fishing has been good along the shoreline out to about 10 feet of water. Good baits have been spinnerbaits, topwaters and a variety of plastics.
