The New Jersey DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife will be conducting a public meeting on August 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pequest Trout Hatchery

The New Jersey DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife will be conducting a public meeting on August 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pequest Trout Hatchery located at 605 Pequest Rd, Oxford, NJ 07863.

The purpose of this meeting is to gather input from the public regarding a proposed public indoor and outdoor Community Archery Park.  A draft environmental assessment has been written for 3 potential locations:

   1. Black River Wildlife Management Area
   Chester Township
   Morris County

   2. Berkshire Valley Wildlife Management Area
   Roxbury Township
   Morris County

   3. South Branch Wildlife Management Area
   Rockaway Creek section, Readington Township
   Hunterdon County

Comments received regarding this "proposed action" will assist the Division of Fish and Wildlife in completing the environmental assessment for the chosen site.  Written comments and suggestions relative to the project will be accepted until September 7, 2012.
