The shorelines of Cedar Lake continue to produce sunfish while crappies, sunfish, and bass are being caught at Lake Mazaska in 10 to 14 feet. Hit the 10- to 12-foot weedlines of Shields Lake for northern pike and sunfish. On Kelly Dudley Lake, you’ll find crappies suspended over 20 to 25 feet and hitting minnows.

The Mississippi River remains high and tough to fish due to floating debris, but the backwaters are accessible and they are producing panfish. The best walleye reports are coming off the Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin near Maple Springs and the Rush River with crankbaits in 10 to 15 feet.
