Hunter Education Class Planned for Seeley Lake, Montana

A hunter education course is planned for Seeley Lake in May. Interested students can register online now. Follow links to Education and Hunter Education.

Classes are Wednesday, May 9, Thurs., May 10, and Fri., May 11 from 6-9 p.m. each evening at the Seeley Lake Elementary School. A field course is planned for the morning of Saturday, May 12.

Students must register online and then pick up their manual to complete a pre-class assignment. Manuals are available at the Seeley Lake Elementary school between 8a.m. and 4p.m., Monday-Friday or by calling instructor, Jeff Hipkins, at 406-754-3499. Students that cannot register online may call Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks at 406-542-5518 for assistance.

Classes are free, and a student must be at least 11 years old to receive certification. Any person born after January 1, 1985 must present a Hunter Education Certificate in order to purchase a hunting license in Montana.
