The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission announces new Chief of Enforcement
LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has named Jeff Crow as its new Chief of Enforcement.
Most recently Crow served as the Law Enforcement Management Specialist for the University of Arkansas’s Criminal Justice Institute. Following an extensive search and interview process the Commission accepted AGFC Director Loren Hitchcock’s recommendation to select Crow for the position recently vacated due to the promotion of Colonel Mike Knoedl to deputy director.
“With Jeff’s institutional knowledge of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and his history in law enforcement and proven leadership ability, he will be a premier leader and administrator as we continue to carry out the mission of our agency,” Hitchcock said following Crow’s announcement in today’s Commission meeting.
Crow has a 30-year career in the military and law enforcement at various positions of rank, including 10 years as an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Wildlife Officer. He has an associate’s degree in criminal justice, a Bachelor of Science in organizational management and will receive a Master of Education in 2013.
