Featured Activity – Ski Touring

One of the oldest winter activities known to man, ski touring has
enjoyed an enthusiastic revival and new growth in Connecticut
during the past few years.

Look for the DEEP’s brown and white signs showing a stylized
skier, direction arrow, and a degree of difficulty symbol. Three
degrees of difficulty are used: a green circle for “easy,” a blue
square for “more difficult,” and a black diamond for “most
difficult.”
