SD: Proposed Changes to Spring Snow Goose Conservation Order

PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Game Fish and Parks Commission is proposing elimination of the daily limit and possession limit for light geese during the 2012 Spring Light Goose Conservation Order.

South Dakota is one of two remaining states in the Central Flyway that has daily and possession limits for the spring season.

The proposed season would run from Feb. 11 – April 29, 2012.

Comments on the proposed season can be e-mailed to wildinfo@state.sd.us or mailed to SD GFP, 513 Capitol Avenue, Pierre, S.D., 57501. Public comments will also be allowed at 2 p.m. during the GFP Commission meeting, Thursday, Dec. 1, at the AmericInn in Fort Pierre.
