CO: EHO- Shot Placement

Over the past few semesters at EHU, we have received a number of
questions on shot placement for elk. They are large animals and at
times, determining the best placement is difficult for the hunter
who is more familiar with smaller game such as deer or pronghorn.
Jim Roode provides a scenario-based lesson to highlight some of the
critical decisions which face the hunter as he gets prepared to

Over the Counter Bull licenses went on sale on July 12th and we are
rapidly approaching the date for the left over license sales (Aug
9th), it is a great time to review the lessons of 2010 and 2011 to
develop that Plan B hunt for those who were unsuccessful in the
