NE: Lieutenant Governor’s Turkey Hunt Set for May 19-22

Providing opportunities for youth and disabled hunters is the
goal of Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy and some hunting friends.

On Friday at the meeting of the Nebraska Game and Parks Board of
Commissioners in Lincoln, Sheehy announced the Second Annual
Lieutenant Governor’s Turkey Hunt will take pace May 19-22 at Hunt
Nebraska in Arapahoe. The hunt will benefit the Huntmasters
Program, which will purchase a trailer full of hunting gear to take
youth and the disabled hunting. The goal is to raise $10,000.

The hunt, sponsored by Game and Parks and the National Wild
Turkey Federation, will include 10 teams of two hunters and one
guide. The entry fee is $500 per hunter.
